really long since i last had an entry here (:

hmm,been really busyybussy of late.
archery day in and out.
schools i had been teaching at for the past weeks include:
East view sec, Cedar girls sec sch, Kuo Chuan Pres, Commonwealth Sec, Innova Junior College
Last fri, De wei & I were at St Nic's for their E6 cluster school meet fun fair. Funny how some of the students really cannot take instructions-like "close your left eye,aim with ur right"- and they close both eyes. or close right eye and attempt aiming with right eye. "pull moree, till the end of the arrow is right infront of your right eye." *nods head* pulls till arrow way past eye, till ear, and turns back to aim when board is right in front. (stress! both me, and the kids.)
lol. makes me think sometimes, like hey, did i use to be like that too? holyshitt!
Nevertheless, teaching the kids and interacting with them really make me really happy- esp. when i see results in their grouping/form/hitting of the bull's eye- really makes my efforts all worthwhile (:
looking at a few of them jump and telling me "instructor instructor! lookk!!! bull's eye!" or simply a thank-you from the kids, or "instructor, i wana further pursue archery, really like it!" really never fail to make my every-day for the past two months (:
examining the cedarians on monday really made me smile from deep within-like how much they have improved over the one month. Although i was pretty lenient with those under me, it was only so simply because i have seen how much effort they had put in thru the weeks; and how much i know they really deserve a good grading (: (3 arrows for grading is really nth compared to 4 weeks of training, really.)
the mad rush having to toggle b/w archery and piano made me feel somewhat frustrated and burnt at some points of the week.
sometimes, it makes me wunder why on earth am i pia-ing so hard.
but at the end of the day, being appreciated really makes everything feel so much better (:
p.s im preparing laura for her grade 2 exam, so happy (:
how she started off with not knowing anything about piano, to preparing "wonderful tonight" for her examination..smiles*
Feel really happy when she tells me bout how she discusses with her friends about piano and her friends are envious that she gets a pop-song for her examination piece.
The happiness stems from how much I have stirred her interest in piano..
which is of my top priority in teaching her
(: Always believe that both her enthusiasm and positive attitue, can keep her going,
a long long way.
Admist all that hectic schedule, met up with the usual clique jiahui,sandy,yanleng,xuxiao two weeks back (: this time, the difference was I had him with me. and I'm really happy at how he bonded so well with them. How he could care for me so much, not only when we spend time alone, even with my friends there : )) he loves them, and they love him tooo (:

Dinner, gossips, catchup with her was really heartwarming (:
realised how much we still had in common. how much i still loved her company (:

seems like the really hot place for all big grp uni gatherings!
lol. talking about cnm outing; i realised i hadn't blogged bout my cnm camp.
it was really really cool, the ppl, the games, the fun. bottomline-i really really enjoyed myself! (:
Friendships-priceless.
How everyone bonded so quickly and how the 3 days seemed to fly.
And yes, I'll be back next year : D
